The location is excellent with easy access to local eateries and the beach just a short stroll away.
The room I stayed in was quite small, which might be a challenge for those looking for more space.

Confusion with room details but appreciated cleanliness
I recently stayed for 2 nights in a standard twin room. The check-in process was a little confusing, as we were initially told one room number but then faced with another upon arrival. the room itself was clean, and I liked the nice furniture set up near the window. I also appreciated the clear instructions for finding our room. It would be better if communication could be clearer to avoid confusion.

We had a lovely stay, but the bathroom ceiling was a bit grimy and the breakfast was swimming in grease. Chur for the comfy bed, though!

proximity to restaurants and shops, clean shared bathrooms, Netflix availability
The window in the single room opened to a concrete wall that felt claustrophobic!!! The shared space conditions could use a serious upgrade, as they were unattractive and uncomfortable. Ensure plumbing and heating are routinely checked for functionality!!!

missingWrote a review on Sept 17convenient locationcomfortable bedscramped bathroomnoisy environmentimpersonal service
The shared bathrooms felt cramped, which detracted from the overall comfort during the stay, and the noise from slamming bedroom doors made for a restless night on several occasions. Despite these issues, the location proved convenient for accessing nearby eateries. It's worth noting that the remote check-in process seemed impersonal, and communicating with staff was often challenging due to limited availability.

It was just an excellent fit for a weekend adventure in Whitley Bay with excellent value for money. The apartment's size was fantastic for my family during the stay. Be prepared for some noise from other residents in the shared areas.

The place is clean with lovely furniture, and it's great being near all the attractions and transport. The kids enjoyed the recreation opportunities available, making it fun for the whole family.
My wife says that the lack of hangers in the room could be improved.

stayed at chedburgh bed & breakfast for one night. self check-in was super convenient since we arrived late. the location is great, just a short stroll to the beach and shops. our standard twin room was basic and a bit dated, but for the price, it was totally fine.
a mild critique would be that the room could use some refreshing.
